The Emergency Department at CVSKL provides care to patients with urgent medical conditions ranging from complex problems such as heart attacks, acute heart failure and strokes to simple but pressing conditions such as minor injuries and common primary healthcare ailments.
The Emergency Department also serves to stabilise and resuscitate referred patients prior to emergent therapeutic procedures in our hospital if it is of cardiovascular or gastrointestinal nature. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Our team includes board-certified emergency medical officers and nurses trained in emergency and critical.
Our operating theatres feature modern equipment and are manned by a team of experienced anaesthetists, surgeons and nurses skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures. Our facilities are designed for optimal efficiency and seamless operational flow.
We also have hybrid operation theatre which is equipped with advanced medical imaging technology. It enables simultaneous percutaneous and surgical intervention procedures in the same location.
There are 2 fully equipped contemporary cath labs at CVSKL where our team performs various procedures, including coronary angiograms, angioplasty, implantation of pacemakers/cardioverter-defibrillators etc. One of the labs is equipped with the Electrophysiology technology to allow treatment for electrical heart disorders.
